2016 Canadian Blind Hockey Tournament officially underway!

The Mattamy Athletic Centre was abuzz this afternoon as the 2016 Canadian Blind Hockey Tournament got underway.

Team Central got things started in the Open Division with a hard fought 7 -6 victory over Team Pacific. Up next was a commanding 6 – 0 win by Team Atlantic over Team Prairies.

The highlight of the day was certainly the debut game of the Select Division, featuring the best Blind Hockey players in the world competing in the freshly established division. The Eastern All-Stars eked out a 4 – 2 victory over The Western All-Stars in game #1 of this weekend’s 3 game series.

Be sure to come check out all of the action tomorrow beginning at 2PM if you live in the Greater Toronto Area. Admission to the games is free of charge.
