The Canadian Blind Hockey Association governs the sport of Blind Hockey in Canada, and promotes the sport around the world. Presently, only Canada and the USA have established Blind Hockey programs, however both countries are working together on international outreach with a goal of founding a four nation tournament to take place by 2020.

The Canadian Blind Hockey Association is led by a founding board of directors made up of Blind Hockey players from diverse backgrounds, including President Gary Steeves who has previously served as Vice-President of the International Blind Sports Federation, as well as Vice-Presidents Francois Beauregard and Mark Bentz.
